Project K: Here's the first look of Prabhas from the future thriller of Nag Ashwin!

Prabhas' first look poster from his highly anticipated flick 'Project K' was presented by the makers, putting an end to the fans' wait. The poster shows Prabhas in a heroic posture in a dystopian backdrop. The mega-budget film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is touted to be a sci-fi action thriller with an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.

Taking to Twitter, Vyjayanthi movies, bankrolling the flick, shared the update, penning, "The Hero rises. From now, the Game changes  This is Rebel Star #Prabhas from #ProjectK. First Glimpse on July 20 (USA) & July 21 (INDIA)." The film is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 600 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.

The poster, which was unveiled on July 19, 2023, has created a buzz among the fans and netizens, who have been eagerly waiting for any update on the film since its announcement in February 2020. The poster features Prabhas in a metal armour, long hair and a dense beard, breaking through the earth with a powerful impact.

The poster also reveals the release date of the film as January 12, 2024. The makers of 'Project K' have also released the first look poster of Deepika Padukone earlier, which received positive responses from the fans and critics.

Deepika Padukone plays the female lead opposite Prabhas, while Amitabh Bachchan plays a pivotal role in the film. Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani also have important roles in the film. The film is expected to be a visual spectacle with high-octane action sequences and stunning visual effects. The film's music score is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, while the cinematography is done by Djordje Stojiljkovic. The production design is handled by Nitin Zihani Choudhary.

The film is shot in Telugu and Hindi languages and will be dubbed in other languages as well. The film marks the debut of Deepika Padukone in Telugu cinema and Amitabh Bachchan's first full-length role in a Telugu film.
