A potent Earthquake was hit in Central Croatia yesterday, with many injured and nearly seven people.
The Earthquake happened in a town southeast of the capital Zagreb. It was said that this is the second wave in that area in recent times. According to the US Geological Survey, the magnitude was 6.4, which felt as far as Vienna.
People were afraid to stay in the home after the quake happened. They reported that the roof and tiles were broken and damaged, the dishes were fell. Most of the people stayed in their cars or nearby relatives home themselves.
Buildings were collapsed and bricks were piled in the streets. Rescue teams fanned away in search of survivors. Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic tweeted, "We are doing everything we can to help the citizens of Petrinja and surrounding areas in this dramatic and tragic situation,"
