Nelson, the man behind the blockbuster ‘Jailer’, is on a roll. After delivering the highest grossing film in Tamil cinema with Superstar Rajinikanth, the director is now eyeing another big star for his next project. Sources close to the filmmaker have revealed that he recently met with the top Tollywood actor Allu Arjun to discuss a possible collaboration.

Allu Arjun, who is known for his stylish and energetic performances, is one of the most popular and bankable stars in Telugu cinema. He has a huge fan following across South India and overseas. His last film, ‘Pushpa’, was a massive hit and broke several records at the box office.

The actor is currently busy with the sequel of ‘Pushpa’, which is expected to release next year. According to the sources, Nelson and Allu Arjun had a cordial and fruitful meeting, where they exchanged their ideas and views on cinema. The director reportedly narrated a script to the actor, which impressed him a lot.

The script is said to be a comedy thriller with a signature touch of the director. Reports from the tinseltown also claim that Anirudh Ravichander tuned the musical score for the upcoming film. The sources also added that the actor has given his nod to the project and the official announcement will be made soon.

If the project materializes, it will mark the first collaboration between Nelson and Allu Arjun. It will also be the first time that Allu Arjun will act in a Tamil film, as the project is planned to be bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.
