Popular Tamil actor Jai is back to the tracks after three years as he is all set to steer in a Grand Prix that will be held in Chennai. Interestingly, the movie team of his upcoming movie has sponsored Jai to keep up his passion for the car race. Jai is one of the stars in the Tamil cinema industry who are passionate about racing and he will be taking part in the car race in Chennai on Sunday - December 12.

The three-day Formula Four race had begun on Friday and the qualifying round has scheduled on Saturday while the final racing will be held on Sunday. The tournament is being conducted by MRF and JA Motor Sports and Jai will be racing on Sunday, for the first time in over three years. The tournament is usually hosted only in three tracks- Chennai, Coimbatore, and Delhi. For the current season, Chennai won the race to be the host. 

Actor Jai, whose care number in the race is 6, is being sponsored by the Yenni Thuniga movie team, along with his all-time sponsor Varun Maniyan Radiance Reality. The pictures of the actor dressed as a car racer have been going viral on social media. While Yenni Thuniga is bankrolled by Suresh Subramaniam, the movie is directed by SK Vettri Selvan.

Jai plays the lead role and Athulya Ravi, Vamsi Krishna, Vidya Pradeep, Sunil Reddy, Anjali Nair, and Sam Suresh play important roles. The music is composed by Sam CS and it is expected that the movie will hit the screens in February 2022. Jai was lastly seen in 'Capmaari' that was directed by SA Chandrasekhar. Athulya Ravi, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Livingston, Sathyan, Srinivasan, and Devadarshini had played crucial roles.
