Superstar Rajinikanth's next Jailer is a burning sensation since the announcement and the poster came and it has been attracting attention over its updates and buzz around the movie. Jailer is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar and the movie is expected to be an offbeat action thriller. 

Rajinikanth is said to be playing the titular role of a jailer. Reports are rife that the film also features Aishwarya Rai and Shiva Rajkumar. And now the film attracted one more buzz from the Kollywood whispers, about the female lead in the film. The entirety of the cast, on the other hand, is still keeping tight-lipped from the makers. 

The latest buzz is that popular actress Tamannah is in discussion to play the female lead to pair with Rajinikanth. Previously, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was in discussions to portray the female lead in the film. While this supposition continues, this fresh information is also making the rounds. 

Sivakarthikeyan, on the other hand, is supposedly playing Rajinikanth's younger incarnation in the film. The cast updates have yet to be formally revealed and are only rumours. The flick is scheduled to cover shooting primarily in Ramoji Filmcity in Hyderabad. According to recent sources, Superstar Rajinikanth will begin filming his upcoming film 'Jailer' on August 15th or 22nd. The highly anticipated film is produced by Sun Pictures, where music is composed by Anirudh,  while Vijay Kartik Kannan handles the flick cinematography.
