Arjun Sarja, the action king of South Indian cinema, is all set to make a grand comeback as a director with a pan-Indian project. The film, which is yet to be titled, will feature his daughter Aishwarya Arjun and Niranjan, the nephew of Sandalwood star Upendra, in the lead roles. The film is said to be a romantic thriller with a lot of twists and turns.
Arjun Sarja, who has directed 15 films in his career, is known for his stylish and slick filmmaking. He has helmed films in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. His last directorial venture was Jai Hind 2 in 2014, which was a sequel to his 1994 hit film Jai Hind.
Arjun Sarja has also acted in over 150 films in various languages and genres. He is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming films Leo of Lokesh Kanagaraj, and he is also to work in 'Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga' and 'Thalaivar 170'.
The new untitled film will mark the debut of Niranjan with this action-king star. Aishwarya Arjun, who made her debut with Pattathu Yaanai in 2013, will be seen as the female lead. The film will also have a star-studded cast of Sathyaraj, Jayaram and Prakash Raj. and other supporting actors from different film industries.
The film goes on floors today and presumably be released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu. Niranjan is set to showcase his versatility in the upcoming untitled movie, donning two distinct looks. Rumour has it that this feel-good commercial flick will be shot in the vibrant city of Hyderabad.
