Popular actor and writer E Ramdoss passes away...Kollywood pays condolences

The death of veteran tamil actor, director, and writer E. Ramadoss on Monday night came as a complete shock to the industry. The actor who has pivotal supporting roles in such films as Vikram Veda, Dharmadurai, Khaki Chatai, and Metro. As per reports, the actor collapsed and died of a heart attack in a private Chennai hospital.

Meanwhile, his son Kalaich Selvan wrote on his Facebook page, "My father Mr. E Ramdoss passed away tonight at MGM Hospital due to a heart attack. Funeral 24/01/2023 11 am - 5 pm 16/1078, Munusamy Road, KK. Nagar, I regret to inform you that it will be held at his residence. - Kalachelvan." The actor has directed films like Aayiram Pookkal Malarattum, and Ravanan (1994).

For public homage, his body will be kept at his home on Munusamy Road in KK Nagar. The body will be cremated at Nesapakkam Main Cemetery at 5 o'clock, according to his son's statement. Celebrities and fans alike are sending messages of condolence. The actor, known for his convincing portrayal of police officers in films, also appeared on Vetrimaran's Visaranai, Maari, Aram, Vasool Raja MBBS, and Yutham Sei.

The passing of E. Ramadoss has stunned the entertainment business. Additionally, celebrities in the film industry have sent their condolences. Ramadas, originally from Villupuram, moved to Chennai to pursue a career in the film industry. He got his start as a writer, moved on to directing, and finally settled into acting.
