The development of removing Sachin Pilot has come after the revolted leader and his supporters skipped the second meeting of Congress Legislature Party that was held on Tuesday at Fairmont Hotel in Jaipur, where the MLAs supporting Gehlot's government have been camped. However, Sachin Pilot and his camps stayed off from the reach and skipped the meeting which escalated the tensions. By breaking the news, Surjewala said that the Congress party has decided to remove Sachin Pilot from the post of Deputy Chief Minister and the party has also removed two-state ministers Vishvender Singh and Ramesh Meena from the cabinet as these two ministers have rebelled along with Sachin Pilot.
Surjewala further stated that Pilot and some of his associates are conspiring to topple the Congress government in the state that was elected by eight crore Rajashthan people. According to the reports, Ashok Gehlot has convened the Congress Legislature Party meeting on Tuesday at the Fairmont Hotel. The meeting was attended by 102 Congress MLAs and the legislators unanimously demanded that Sachin Pilot should be removed from the party.
