Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the renowned Indian film director and daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, has recently filed a report with the Tamil Nadu police stating that 60 sovereigns of gold and diamond jewellery belonging to her have been stolen from her home safe. The complaint, which was filed quite recently, the police have now arrested Easwari, a housekeeper at the director's residence in the development.

In response to the complaint, the police launched an investigation, and it has now been revealed that Eswari and her husband are accused of stealing the jewellery. The police discovered multiple large transactions between the accused and their accomplices, and when questioned, they admitted to stealing the jewellery in stages from 2019 and converting it to cash.

According to the complaint, Aishwarya wore the jewellery for the last time in 2019 for her sister Soundarya's wedding, and she had not opened the safe since then. When she lived with Dhanush in Mandaveli, she kept the locker's keys at her St. Mary's Road residence, while the locker itself was relocated to his home in Mandaveli. Later, following her divorce, the locker was relocated to Rajinikanth's Poes Garden home .

As her maids Eswari, Lakshmi, and driver Venkat had access to her home, Aishwarya suspected them. She informed the police that the suspects were aware of the jewellery in the residence and that she suspected them of theft during her absence.  Eswari committed these thefts in all of these high-profile locations with stringent security.

Meanwhile Aishwarya Rajinikanth is currently engrossed in the shooting of her upcoming movie, 'Laal Salaam'. The movie stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles and it is reported Rajinikanth himself will be making a cameo appearance in the film. The film went on floors on March 8.

The movie's plot revolves around the intertwining themes of cricket and politics, promising an engaging storyline for audiences to look forward to. The shooting is currently underway with full drive. The movie's music is being composed by none other than the renowned AR Rahman.
