'This is a pleasant surprise': Suriya thanks Sivakarthikeyan...Video goes viral!

Actor Suriya has thanked Sivakarthikeyan for his lyrics for the former's upcoming movie 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan'. The lyrical video of the song 'Summa Surrunu' of the movie was released on Sunday - January 16 and took the fans into excitement. The video has been going viral and it has become the third lyrical video of the movie. The release has become weeks ahead of the movie release. 

Surprisingly, the lyrics of Summa Surrunu song was penned by actor Sivakarthikeyan, who is etching his work in various dimensions including as a promising producer and songwriter. The song Summa Surrunu is sung by Armaan Malik and Nikhita Gandhi and is composed by D Imman. It has marked Sivakarthikeyan's first association with Suriya as a lyricist. 

Suriya's Ethurkkum Thunindhavan is slated for a theatrical release in five languages on February 5 and the movie team has been working steadily for the unhindered release. While Sivakarthikeyan had won the hearts of the fans as a lyricist in this song, Suriya has caught the eyes of the fans through his smart and impressive appearance with the background of a rocking music from D Imman. 

As the lyrical video is going super viral, actor Suriya has thanked Sivakarthikeyan for his lyrics. Taking to social media following the release, Suriya wrote, "This is a pleasant surprise thank you for the love Siva!!." Replying to Suriya's message, Sivakarthikeyan said, "Sir very happy to join you, Pandiraj sir, and Imman na. You are looking very smark in the song." 

Etharkkum Thunindhavan is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures and directed by Pandiraj. While Suriya plays the lead role, Priyanka Mohan, Vinay Rai, Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori, Devadarshini, MS Bhaskar, Jayaprakash, and Subbu Panchu play important roles. While Imman has composed the music, cinematography and editing have been done by Rathnavelu and Ruben respectively.
