It's been two months since star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor exchanged their wedding vows in the presence of their closest friends and family. They tied the knot on April 14, after dating for several years. The first film in which the two of them will act as a couple is 'Brahmastra' which is coming out on September 9. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni will be playing crucial roles.
The film is said to be having three parts and the first part serves as the foremost film in its own cinematic universe called Astraverse. The movie is getting released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam. On Monday morning, one of the most beloved couples in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announced that they are expecting a baby by sharing a picture of Alia undergoing sonography with Ranbir on her side watching.
Alia Bhatt shared a photo on Instagram and she was seen lying on a hospital bed while Ranbir Kapoor was next to her. She wrote, “Our baby .. coming soon”. The post has been flooded with comments congratulating Alia and Ranbir. However, a section of people has been claiming that it's a strategy to promote their upcoming movie 'Brahmastra'.
Amid such claims, several notable stars have lined up and shared their wishes for the couple. Popular actress Gal Gadot, with whom Alia is making her international debut through the movie 'Heart Of Stone', has left red hearts congratulating Alia Bhatt. Priyanka Chopra wrote, "Congratulations honey! Yaay! Can't wait."
A slew of stars including Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn, Zoya Akhtar, and Rakul Preet Singh took to the comments section to congratulate the new parents-to-be. Amid all the celebrities' wishes, fans reminisce the throwback video a month ago, where Ranbir Kapoor carries a baby and Alia reshares it and mentioned, 'Okay. This video is a full vibe'.
