"This is not just light. It’s a Dharshana."... Here's the First Look Teaser of Rishab Shetty's Kantara A Legend Chapter-1

The much-awaited teaser of Kantara prequel, A Legend Chapter-1, has finally been released by Hombale Films, the studio behind the blockbuster KGF franchise. The teaser, which is a little over a minute long, gives a glimpse of the epic fantasy adventure that awaits the fans of the Kantara universe.

The teaser begins with a voice-over of the protagonist, played by Rishab Shetty, who is also the writer and director of the film. He says, “In light, everything is visible. But this is not just light. It’s a Dharshana. The light which illuminates the past and future.”

The teaser then shows him in a bloodied attire, holding a glorious holy weapon and a shield, standing inside a mysterious cave under the moonlight. The teaser ends with a close-up of his face, as he looks determined and fearless.

The film, which is a prequel to the 2019 hit Kantara, explores the origin story of the legendary warrior who fought against the evil forces that threatened his land. The film is co-written by Anirudh Mahesh and Shanil Guru, and features a stellar cast of actors from different industries. The film also boasts of stunning visuals by cinematographer Arvind S Kashyap and a rousing musical score by B Ajaneesh Loknath.

The first look of the film has created a lot of buzz and excitement among the fans, who are eagerly waiting to see their favourite hero back on the big screen. The film is expected to release in 2024, and will be one of the most anticipated films of the year.

The makers have not yet announced the release date, but have promised to reveal it soon . The film will be released in seven languages, namely Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and English.
