Prime Minister Modi said that number of the new variant of coronavirus is decreasing in the country.  
 
He spoke after he laid the foundation stone of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Rajkot through Video Conference.  
 
He said. "Preparations are in the last stages for the vaccination program against COVID-19. People will get vaccine manufactured in India. We are working on mission mode to improve medical education in India. After the formation of the National Medical Commission, the quality and quantity of health education will improve". 
 
"I used to say 'jab tak dawai nahi dhilai nahi' (No let up till vaccination) but now our mantra for 2021 should be: Dawai bhi, kadaai bhi (yes to medicine and yes to caution)" he added.
