The Spanish heist crime drama series has become a global phenomenon that most under the sun and moon had become fans of the series ever since it was aired. Yes, an IT company that is based in Jaipur has taken its employees into surprise by offering a holiday to watch the premiere of the upcoming season and the company has also announced a task list for the employees- the summary of the list is - You can miss the work, but never miss the Professor and the heist.
The fifth and final season of the global hit series will be divided into two parts of five episodes each. While the first five will stream on September 3, the rest of the episodes will hit the screens after three months, on December 3. As the final season approaches, the fans in India are getting back on board to travel through the heist under the watch of the Professor, played by Alvaro Morte. Verve Logic, an IT company based in Jaipur, has announced a holiday for its employees on September 3, on the eve of the release of the final season of Money Heist.
The company shared the circular, signed by its CEO Abhishek Jain, on social media in which it has said that this holiday initiative was taken not just to save an attack on our emails with false leaves, report mass bunks, and numbers being switched off, but because these moments would be the best pills for energy at the work. In the circular, it has said, "The management has decided to declare a 'Netflix & Chill Holiday' on 3rd of September 2021 on the release of Money Heist 5."
It stated, "We have taken this initiative not just to save an attack on our emails with false leaves, see mass bunks, and numbers being switched off but because we know 'Sometimes Moments of Chill be The Best Pills for Energy At Your Work'. So, grab the popcorn, freeze on your couch, and be prepared to wave a final bye to our most loved professor and the entire cast. With this, Verve Logic would like to thank all its members who have shown an amazing spirit during Work from Home and helped us come out of the hard times beautifully. We know after all the stress and hustle 'Ek Break to Banta Hai' (A break in Made)."
The company has also shared the task list for Friday in which it has said that the employees must report at Netflix at 10 am, scrum meeting with friends for experience so far with the series at 12.00 to 12.15 pm, lunch break between 1.15 pm to 2.15 pm, and house chores and family time from 5.15 to 9.00 pm. By sharing the circular and task list, the company wrote in a Twitter post, "Have been going over the love we have received. Yes, it is real and we are absolutely happy to announce an off on 3rd September naming it to be "Netflix & Chill Holiday" on the release of the final season of Money Heist. Tagging Netflix India, the company added, "Please don't end this one."
Responding to the company's initiative, Netflix India has shared the company's circular to the employees and called the idea 'fantastic' and further wrote, "We had our 'bank work' excuse ready for our boss but this is fantastic." Titled 'La Case De Papel' (The House of Paper) in Spanish, Money Heist revolves around two heists led by The Professor (Alvaro Morte) - one on the Royal Mint of Spain and the other on the Bank of Spain. Created by Alex Pina and produced by Vancouver Media, Money Heist also stars Ursula Cobero as Tokyo, Pedro Alonso as Berlin, Miguel Herran as Rio, Jaime Lorente as Denver, Esther Acebo as Stockholm, Enrique Arce as Arturo, Darko Peric as Helsinki, Hovik Keuchkerian as Bogota, Belen Cuesta as Manila, and Itziar Ituno as Lisbon.
Ever since the IT company has announced its holiday offer for its employees to watch Money Heist, it has become the talk of the town as several users on social media had tagged their respective companies to ask for a similar holiday for them. Recently, in a blog, Monika Shergill, the Vice President, Content, Netflix India has said that India was big on international titles in 2020 and among others, Money Heist had featured on the Top 10 list for 170 days.
