Superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya has filed a shocking complaint to the Chennai Police in which she said that her jewels are stolen from her locker. She moved her complaint to the Teynampet police and the police have launched a probe.
Aishwarya said that her diamond and gold jewellery worth several lakhs were stolen from her locker. She has also named three staff in her house as the suspects. Based on her complaint, the Teynampet police have registered a case under section 381 - theft by a domestic help of IPC. The officials are investigating the matter.
According to the FIR, the value of the stolen jewellery is Rs 3.6 lakh and the missing valuables include diamond sets, antique gold pieces, navaratnam sets, set of two neck pieces, and bangles. In her complaint, the 41-year-old director said that she had kept the jewellery in her locker after using them for the wedding of her younger sister Soundarya in 2019.
It has been reported that though the locker was in Aishwarya's possession, it had shifted to three places in recent years. It was at her apartment at St. Mary's Road, Alwarpet, Chennai till August 2021 and then it was shifted to a residence she shared with her former husband, actor Dhanush in CIT colony. The locker was shifted again to her apartment at St. Mary's Road.
The locker was then shifted to actor Rajinikanth's residence at Poes Garden. Aishwarya said that though the locker was at her father's house, she possessed the keys of the locker and they were kept in her cupboard at St. Mary's Road apartment. In her complaint, she had further alleged that some of her staff were aware of the keys location and her staff had frequently visited the apartment in her absence. She has named three staff members as suspects.
