It was after September 14th when Union Home minister Amit Shah had torched the fire in Tamil Nadu after claiming that Hindi should be named as the common language to unite the country, Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi, with the motive of pouring water on the heat waves, has been expressing his modified fond on Tamil language through his social media platforms and through his national and international meetings and summits.
He had seemingly flagged the prospects in every stances to proclaim and to picture his sudden bonding with the language that was hugely seen as one of his important and strong parameters to connect closely with Tamil people and in the state that has been one of the Indian states in which the BJP has least presence that was now been damaged by pro Hindi statements. His intention mixed affectionate bond with Tamil language has been bringing in the voices from both sides of the shores as the state BJP wing had welcomed his episodes to stay close with Tamil people while the Congress party had accused his attempts to lower down the controversies in the state that was mounted after Amit Shah's Hindi remarks.
His first episode of expressing his fond on Tamil was played at 'Howdy, Modi!' event that was organized by Indians living in the United States where it was hosted in Texan city of Houston last month in which Modi was accompanied by US President Donald Trump. While addressing thousands of Indians, Modi had praised Tamil language and admitted it as the oldest language of the world. He echoed his Tamil bonding while speaking at the United Nations General Assembly in which he underlined the poem of Tamil scholar Kaniyan Pungundranar of 4th century BC as he addressed about universal brotherhood.
After he arrived in India on September 28th, he made his first national tour after addressing UNGA to Chennai on September 30th to participate in the convocation ceremony of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and upon his arrival in Chennai, he claimed that Tamil Nadu is the state of special distinction by being the home to one of the oldest languages in the world.
Through the chapters of writing his modified bonding with Tamil language, he was seen staying in his bonding that was enhanced while he hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping in Tamil Nadu's coastal town of Mamallapuram in which they tabled their second informal summit on October 11th and 12th. It was certainly a surprise on choosing Mamallapuram as the venue for the summit and he lived in the surprise of Tamil people where the entire state had raised its eyebrow after witnessing Modi in the traditional attire of Shirt and Dhoti when he officially welcomed Chinese leader to the coastal town. For the two days since the start and wrap up of the summit, Modi's twitter bird was flying with Tamil, Mandarin and English. Adding to that, Chinese President was provided with Tamil Nadu cuisine and foods during the summit.
On October 12th, he took to the beach shore for a morning walk during which he was cleaning the beach with the view of promoting his 'Swachh Bharat' campaign for making India clean. The next day, he had tweeted a poem which he had written in Hindi where he had translated the Hindi poem into Tamil and tweeted yesterday that gets added to his chapters. Through publishing the poem in Tamil, he had stated that he wrote the poem at the shores of Mamallapuram. His latest edition of unleashing affection on Tamil language was welcomed by the ruling party of the state of Tamil Nadu ADMK which labels the moves as a concerted effort to erase the negative shades that were painted against him and his party in the state.

On the other hand, Modi was accused by the Congress party which claims that Modi has been trying to hide the gaffe committed by Amit Shah and further stated that Tamil Nadu would have organized anti BJP protest if Modi had failed to showcase that he is close to the Tamil people. Tamil Nadu state minister Pandiarajan had said that it was not the first time Modi had expressed his Tamil bonding where seven months ago, through his monthly radio address, he claimed that Tamil is the ancient language than Sanskrit.
