MK Stalin's surprise gift to a 7-year-old boy: Here's the interesting story!

In a surprise for surprise moment, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has surprised a seven-year-old boy in the state by gifting a bicycle for surprising the government with his piggy bank collection, which has become a sign of inspiration. The boy's contribution and Stalin's gift have become the talk of the town with several people lauding the boy for lending his savings from his tiny bank to the government. 

According to reports, seven-year-old Harishvarman, who is a son of an electrician in Madurai, had been saving the money in his piggy bank to buy a bicycle. He had saved Rs 1000 with him and as the state has been battling the pandemic, he had decided to give his savings to the government for Covid related measures. Along with the money, the boy had also sent a handwritten note to MK Stalin through his father. 

In his letter, Harishvarman has requested the Chief Minister to help people who were suffering due to Covid through his contribution. The letter had reached Stalin and after learning that the boy has contributed the money which he saved for getting a bicycle, he had decided to gift him a bicycle. According to reports, Harishvarman had a pleasant surprise on Sunday evening that the DMK members are at his residence with a brand new bicycle. 

DMK's Madurai North MLA K Thalapathy and other members had arrived at Harishvarman's residence with a new blue-and-red bicycle. Besides presenting a bicycle to the boy, Stalin had directly spoken with Harishvarman over the phone and he had asked the boy to study well. With their only son talking directly to the Chief Minister, Harishvarman's parents Ilango and Geetha were elated about the surprise. 

Harishvarman has contributed the money to the CM's Relief Fund and speaking to a news agency, the boy has said that he has been very disheartened by the Covid cases and he had decided to do something about it. He had decided to contribute his money from the piggy bank. He added that the bicycle is fantastic.  

He stated that Chief Minister MK Stalin had asked him if he liked the cycle and which standard he was studying. The Chief Minister has also said to the boy to be very careful while going out and study well. The surprise gift and gesture from the Chief Minister had drawn immense reception across social media as several people had welcomed and lauded Stalin's move to gift the bicycle for the boy who had contributed his entire savings to the government for helping the people who are suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
