MK Stalin is indisposed and advised to be in rest for few days...Here's what happened!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is indisposed and advised to be in rest for few days as he had developed health discomfort. The news has shocked the DMK functionaries and the people across the state and they have extended their wishes to him for a speedy recovery. 

MK Stalin has been diagnosed with viral flu and he has been advised regular treatment for fever management. He had developed symptoms of cough and fever on Friday - November 3 and now, he has been brought under regular treatment and will be in rest for a few days. 

In an official press release, Mohan Kameswaran, chief surgeon and director of Madras ENT Research Foundation said, "The Honble. Chief Minister had symptoms of cough and fever since yesterday. He has been diagnosed with viral flu. Honble CM has been advised regular treatment for fever management and rest for a few days." 

It must be noted that Mohan Kameswaran is Chief Minister MK Stalin's personal doctor and MK Stalin has also shared the press release on his social media handles. The development has come at a high time when Chennai is reporting incessant downpours and spread of flu across the city. As showers have been causing heavy disruption across the city for a past few days, MK Stalin on Saturday said the residents of Chennai need not have to worry about floods. 

On Saturday, MK Stalin took to social media and said that the Chennai residents need not have to worry about floods during the northeast monsoon season. In a post, he said that the impact of rain had been reduced due to continuous desilting of the new 876km stormwater drains and replacing old and defunct stormwater drains. He further instructed the elected representatives, from ward councillors to MLAs, to be in field with officials to aid the residents during downpours.
