'Golden' Baba of Kanpur has once again proven that he and the gold are inseparable. When most of the people are running to get surgical and N95 masks to guard them against the COVID-19 pandemic, this Golden Baba has made a gold mask worth Rs 5 lakh and his love towards gold had awe-struck many.
Manoj Sengar, also known as 'Manojanand Maharaj' and 'Golden Baba', has caught major attention across the country for making a gold mask for him. A native of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Sengar has spent Rs 5 lakh through which he again had displayed his passion for the precious gem.
According to Sengar, his gold mask has a sanitiser solution inside it which will work for 36 months. He has named his mask 'Shiv Sharan Mask'. This mask will decorate him amid already decorating gold ornaments like gold earrings and gold belts. Sengar wears four gold chains which together weigh around 250 grams.
Sengar will all-day wear gold jewellery weighing nearly two kilograms and he has a conch shell and Lord Hanuman's locket. Besides these ornaments, Sengar has a pair of golden earrings, a golden cover for his revolver, and three gold belts. He said that his love for gold had invited him more threats from anti-social elements.
Sengar said he is taking all precautions for his security and he has two armed bodyguards to protect him all the time. According to reports, the Golden Baba had ordered the gold mask from Mumbai and this is believed to be the first-of-its-kind mask in the country.
