A fascinating update has been going around in Kollywood that a prominent actor has been brought into Indian 2, as the long-awaited Indian 2 has been briskly getting the form of shooting. Veteran filmmaker Shankar is in charge of the 1996 film's sequel, and the producers are working hard to avoid a hiatus in production once again.

According to the sources, popular actor Sathyaraj would appear in Indian-2. It is claimed that the lead actor is in talks with the team, and if confirmed, he would be collaborating with Kamal Haasan after 35 years. The duo was last seen on-screen with Kamal in the 1986 action-adventure film Vikram. Fans are anticipating a lot as Sathyaraj and Kamal Haasan will work together after a decades-long break. Recently, Indian 2 has roped Navarasa Nayagan Karthik, a well-known thespian during the 1980s, in a pivotal role. 

Earlier, new mommy Kajal Agarwal in a recent interview dispelled the rumours and affirmed that she is part of the movie. She further said that she will be joining the shooting during the second week of September. Along with Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal, other notable actors in Indian 2 include Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Guru Soma Sundaram, Delhi Ganesh, and Samuthirakani.

The background score for Indian 2 is being by Anirudh after Ulaga Nayagan's recent blockbuster hit 'Vikram', and the movie is billed by actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin under the aegis of Red Giant Pictures and Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions  This long-shelved project will be restarted by filmmaker Shankar after finishing his current Telugu debut movie, "RC 15," starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.
