Major shock for Rajinikanth: No Political entry in January?

In a shocking development that would lead to a sudden change of matrixes, superstar actor and political newbie Rajinikanth has now been pushed to brace up for the unanticipated event, which would result in deferring his political announcement as the shooting of his next movie 'Annaatthe' has got the grounds of COVID-19 spread which had shocked the superstar and the entire crew.

According to reports, around eight people of the technical crew of the team had confirmed to have contracted the viral infection amid the tight shooting that was underway in Ramoji city, Hyderabad with Rajinikanth and Nayanthara were taking part for the last ten days. As the entire crew had met with a shock and a state of perplexion on how the viral infection got its place amid the preventive measures, the shooting has been temporarily halted.

Rajinikanth would be returning to Chennai from Hyderabad on Wednesday and he would likely quarantine himself and the development has come at a high time when he has been left with days time to launch his political party as he would be contesting in the upcoming state assembly polls. According to reports, Rajinikanth went to Hyderabad with the determination to complete the shooting of Annaatthe, which would become his last movie, following which he would take a political plunge as an active politician.

Rajinikanth, his daughter Aishwarya Dhanush, and actor Nayanthara, and some of the crew members had traveled to Hyderabad from Chennai through the chartered flight. He left Chennai two days after celebrating his 70th birthday with the hope of returning back to the city after completing the shooting to prepare for his political drama. With the view of curbing the spread, the movie team had deployed preventive measures in the shooting spot and the pics of the superstar at the shooting spot had gone viral.

However, COVID-19 had spoiled Rajini's dream and hope of launching his political party as he announced and while the shooting has temporarily halted, it has been expected that it would adversely affect his bid of launching the political party in January. Rajinikanth had earlier said that he would be launching his political party after completing the 'Annaatthe' shooting and asserted that the shooting would be getting completed soon.

As the shooting has got halted owing to the COVID-19 spread, it's less likely that he would announce and enter active politics by January as he must go into quarantine for the rest of the month and he will again resume the shooting in January. According to reports, if he goes for shooting in January, he would launch the political party and enter the campaign trail by February when the state would be left with just one month for the assembly polls and the fast-approaching elections and a COVID-19 shock around him had pushed the superstar to face more challenges.

In October, the reports had circulated across the state with what they mentioned as Rajini's circular to his closest's circle in which the actor had said that he will not launch his political party during the pandemic time and stated that his doctors advised him to take care of his health. However, the actor had earlier this month announced that he would launching his political party in January and would be contesting in the upcoming legislative polls.

His announcement had relished his fans and members of his outfit who were expecting his political entry for over many years. However, the current development had conveyed to the fans that they need to wait for some more time to witness the actor getting into the active politician as his announcement about his political party would likely get deferred. According to reports close to the developments, the actor has been preparing for politics but his entry won't be possible until he completes the shooting and he won't resume the shooting until everyone who affected by the pandemic gets recovered and with the assurance of tight and preventive measures in the shooting spot.

'Annaatthe' team was shooting for the movie at Ramoji Film city and they scheduled to complete the shooting in 45 days. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the movie is directed by Siva. While Imman had composed the music, the movie has roped in Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, and Khushbhu in important roles. Being speculated as the rural drama, the Annaatthe shooting was officially launched last December in Chennai. However, it has been witnessing hindrances due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
