Madhavan, Nayanthara and Siddharth join hands for a cricket-based film for the first time! And check out the film's title...

It will be the first time that actors Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth have worked together on a project of this nature, and the movie will be about the sport of test cricket. The film will mark the directorial debut of Sashikanth of Y Not Studios, who has backed critically acclaimed films such as Vikram Vedha and Super Deluxe. 

As per the latest reports, The film is titled as ‘The Test’. It is anticipated that The Test will hit on floors towards the end of this month, and the score will be composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film will delve into the complexities of test cricket as well as the influence the game has had on the lives of the characters. 

Although Madhavan and Siddharth have collaborated on screen before in movies like Rang De Basanti and Aayudha Ezhuthu, Nayanthara will be working with both of them for the first time in this project. Due to the fact that it features three talented actors with experience in a variety of fields, "The Test" is shaping up to be one of the most highly sought movies of the year. 

Madhavan's most recent role was in the film Dhokha: Round D Corner, and in Rocketry and he is also set to star in the upcoming biopic on GD Naidu. Nayanthara is currently working on her 75th film, which is directed by Nilesh Krishnaa and features actor Jai in a pivotal role. 

In addition to this, she has a film titled Jawan with Atlee, which is her debut in Bollywood, as well as another film in Tamil starring Jayam Ravi and directed by Ahmed. The upcoming film Indian 2 directed by Kamal Haasan features Siddharth in a significant role. Fans of both of these actors, as well as fans of cricket, are in for a treat for this enticing fresh venture.
