Love Today: "What more can I ask for ?"... Pradeep on cloud nine with the wishes from Superstar!

With more accolades for a typical romantic comedy, Pradeep Ranganathan's most recent film, "Love Today," is smashing the theatres, and winning fans. The latest is that Rajinikanth, Kollywood Superstar, gave the film his cheers, and the director goes over the moon.  Pradeep is well-known for his previous film, Comali, in which Jayam Ravi starred and which also received a favorable reception from moviegoers.

On Saturday, the director posted pictures of himself and Rajinikanth, who had draped a shawl for him, on Twitter. He wrote, "What more can I ask for ? It was like to be near a sun . So warm . The tight hug , those eyes , the laugh , the style and the love," The digital rights of the film have been bagged by Netflix, and the distribution rights of the film in Tamil Nadu were acquired by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner of Red Giant Movies

He adds, "What a personality . SUPERSTAR @rajinikanth saw #LoveToday and wished me  Will never forget the words you said sir @archanakalpathi". The romantic comedy-drama movie was backed by Kalapathi .S. Aghoram under the banner of AGS Entertainment. Ivana and Raveena Ravi play the female lead, with director Pradeep making his acting debut. Yogi Babu and Sathyaraj play supporting roles.

Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's score and music, while Dinesh Purushothaman shot the movie and Pradeep E. Ragav edited it. It's interesting to note that this movie is the director's own adaptation of the short film App(a) Lock. On November 4, 2022, Love Today was theatrically released. Both critics and viewers gave it favorable reviews. The film has grossed about 27 crores so far in one week, as per reports.
