The buzz around Ajith’s upcoming film ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ is getting louder by the day. The film, which marks the first collaboration between Ajith and director Magizh Thirumeni, is touted to be a suspense thriller with high-octane action sequences. Well, according to the latest reports, it is none other than Arjun Das, who has impressed the audience with his powerful performances in ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Master’. The actor, who is also part of Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, is said to have been roped in for an important role in ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, and he might be playing the antagonist against Ajith.

The film will be produced by Lyca Productions, who have bankrolled some big-budget films like ‘2.0’ and ‘Indian 2’.

The film’s shooting will commence in Pune, and then move to various locations abroad. The film is planned to be shot in a single stretch for another three months, and the makers are aiming for a grand release next year.
