The film, which marks the first collaboration between Ajith and director Magizh Thirumeni, is touted to be a suspense thriller with high-octane action sequences. The film’s pre-production work has reached the final stage, and the shooting is expected to start soon.
But who will play the villain in this edge-of-the-seat entertainer? Well, according to the latest reports, it is none other than Arjun Das, who has impressed the audience with his powerful performances in ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Master’. The actor, who is also part of Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, is said to have been roped in for an important role in ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, and he might be playing the antagonist against Ajith.
If this news turns out to be true, then it will be a thrilling clash of titans between Ajith and Arjun Das on the big screen. Both the actors are known for their intense screen presence and charismatic voice, and it will be interesting to see how they match up against each other. We will have to wait and see whether Arjun Das play the tough guy or one of the many who will challenge the ultimate star.
Meanwhile, Trisha is said to be playing the female lead in ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, and this will be her fifth film with Ajith after ‘Kreedam’, ‘Mankatha’, ‘Ji’ and ‘Yennai Arindhaal’. The film will also have music by Anirudh Ravichander, who has composed some chartbusters for Ajith’s previous films like ‘Vedalam’ and ‘Viswasam’. The film will be produced by Lyca Productions, who have bankrolled some big-budget films like ‘2.0’ and ‘Indian 2’.
The film’s shooting will commence in Pune, and then move to various locations abroad. The film is planned to be shot in a single stretch for another three months, and the makers are aiming for a grand release next year.
