After quitting his job and living an unhappy life with no home and no hope and being desperate for food, a man in Tamil Nadu has eventually directed his arrest with the motive of getting barred behind the prison to live a life and to get food every day.

This shocking incident had occurred in the Erode district which had portrayed that the people living with no help and support have been sheltering themselves in prisons. While describing the unusual and unfortunate scenes, the reports say that the police control room in Chennai had received two phone calls on Sunday around 5 pm where one of the phone calls had stated about the forthcoming bomb blast in Erode railway station and the other had informed that there are explosives in city's bus stand. Following the distressing calls, the police control room in Chennai had alerted the bomb squad after which the local bomb squad conducted severe searches and checks in both the places to locate the explosives while the city's police department had immediately grounded for action to locate the number from which the suspected caller had informed about the plot.

There were lapses in operations to exactly locate the spot and to locate the caller where the reports have stated that the number was shown in one address following which the police had raided the suspicious person and they later identified that the particular person in the address claimed that he had given the phone to his brother in law and while his brother in law was interrogated, he had notified that his phone was looted a couple of days ago.

With the series of investigations, the police had finally located his phone in the hands of Santhosh Kumar who was surrounded by the police in early hours of Monday in Erode railway station following which they found that he was the one who made calls to the control room.

While questioning him based on the call, the police department came to know that Santhosh Kumar used to work in a private firm in Mettupalayam and despite having two wives, he was living alone without a proper home and proper job. The police sources had revealed that he quit his job and moved to Erode to hunt further opportunities and after living with no job, no home, and no proper food, he allegedly made false and unfactual calls to police with the view of getting himself arrested to have shelter and food in prison. Under the grounds of making fake calls, he has been arrested and taken under police custody.
