The fifth death anniversary of the widely beloved late actress Sridevi marks tomorrow on 24th February. Her unexpected death sent shockwaves across the film industry as it mourned one of its most prized actresses. Ahead of a day, Producer Boney Kapoor shared an emotional picture of his late wife and veteran actress Sridevi saying that its the last picture of Sridevi.
Five years following her death, fans are still grieving the loss of Sridevi. Producer Boney Kapoor on Thursday, shared an emotional picture of his late wife and veteran actress Sridevi ahead of her 5th death anniversary. He simply captioned the throwback picture, "Last picture ……" , In the picture,Sridevi in a green and gold ethnic outfit, posing along with her husband Boney, their daughter Khushi, and other family members at the wedding.
In 2018 February, Sridevi and Khushi, her youngest daughter, went to attend nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding in Al Jazirah Al Hamra, Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. After the wedding, the actress spent a few days in Dubai shopping for her eldest daughter Janhvi's 21st birthday while her husband Boney Kapoor was in Lucknow for a meeting on the 22nd. After Sridevi told Boney how much she missed him, he secretly planned a visit to surprise his wife.
At about 18:20, he arrived at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel (Dubai time). Before heading out to dinner, the couple spent about 30 minutes having a chat. While Boney waited in the living room, Sridevi decided to take a shower before getting dressed. They were running late, so he called out to the actress after 15 or 20 minutes but got no answer. Few days ago, Boney Kapoor announced that a biography of the late veteran actress , titled "The Life of a Legend" will be published by the end of the year. According to the publishers, the book is a 360-degree portrayal of Sridevi that will bring back the icon to its readers. The book will reportedly be written by Dhiraj Kumar and published by Westland Books. The book will chronicle the life of Sridevi and attempt to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of her iconic career, life choices and struggles
