The legendary actor and politician Kamal Haasan is all set to collaborate with the talented director H Vinoth for his next film, tentatively titled KH233. The film, which is produced by Kamal Haasan’s own banner Raaj Kamal Films International, is said to be a political thriller that will address important social issues in the country.

According to a source close to the project, the film will be officially titled Thalaivan Irukkindran, which translates roughly as, “The Leader is Here”. The source also revealed that the film will be a hard-hitting action drama that will showcase Kamal Haasan’s charisma and leadership qualities.

The film is expected to release ahead of the 2024 elections, in which Kamal Haasan will be contesting as the chief ministerial candidate of his party Makkal Needhi Maiam. The film also said to be feature Vijay Sethupathi in a pivotal role, who will be sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan for the second time after Vikram.

The source said that Vijay Sethupathi’s character will have a lot of depth and complexity, and that he will have some powerful scenes with Kamal Haasan. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced. H Vinoth, on the other hand, has delivered some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in recent times, such as Thunivu, Valimai, and Nerkonda Paarvai, all starring Ajith Kumar, and Theeran Adhigaram Ondru.

He is known for his realistic and gripping storytelling, and his ability to handle different genres. He is also one of the few directors who has worked with both Ajith Kumar and Kamal Haasan, two of the biggest stars in Tamil cinema.
