Hours after getting discharged from the hospital, legendary actor Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan was quickly back to business as he attended the audio launch of Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming flick 'DSP' and the event was held on Friday - November 25. Kamal Haasan's presence on the stage surprised many as it turned the event more special and viral.

DSP is helmed by Ponram, who rose to fame through the movies like Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam, Rajini Murugan, Seema Raja, and MGR Magan. The movie marks Vijay Sethupathi's third return to a role as a police officer after Sethupathi and Chekka Chivandha Vaanam. The film is scheduled to be released on December 2, and the trailer for it was released on Friday, and it looks like it's going to be a kicking, action-packed, exciting treat from the actor.

After getting discharged from Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Chennai where he was admitted for two days due to a health discomfort, Kamal Haasan went on to participate in the audio and trailer launch event and the fans were overjoyed that the iconic actor is back in the game. It is pertinent to note that Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi had their first collaboration in the blockbuster hit movie 'Vikram', which was helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

After taking the stage, Kamal Haasan shared his thoughts for the evening and said, "Vijay Sethupathi is a movie fan just like me... If I ever met Marlon Brando, I would bow down and kiss his hand." he said.  The internet is abuzz with a photo of Vijay Sethupathi handing Kamal a bouquet. He further said, "I came here to be a part of my brother Vijay Sethupathi's DSP's audio launch. I saw the trailer and it has come out well. The actor and the movie both have my best wishes for a smashing success."

Kamal Haasan, speaking to the press there, remarked, "In the past, even after major mishaps, I often got asked when we'd resume shooting and when the next film would be released. But these days, even when I just have a cough, I hear about something major. I believe it's due to the media and the growing affection for me. That is very kind of you, and I appreciate it."

Kamal is currently involved in Shankar's Indian 2. Interestingly, Kamal Haasan will team up with the Valimai director for the tentatively titled KH 233 film, where the reports suggest that Vijay Sethupathi is roped in to play a pivotal role in the highly anticipated film. But the official confirmation has not been made yet.
