Vetrimaaran has been keeping busy with his highly anticipated project Viduthalai, which stars the talented duo of Soori and Vijay Sethupathi. As the trailer of the film launched yesterday, the rumors of possible collaboration between Vetrimaaran, Jr NTR and Dhanush for a new film is getting more potent on social media. However, the team of Jr NTR has recently put an end to these rumors with an official statement, categorically stating that the rumors are baseless and should not be believed.

The statement released by Jr NTR's team which reads, “Over the past couple of days, there is an unverified news report on Mr Jr NTR, Mr Dhanush, Mr Vetrimaaran’s film. We would like to clarify that they are absolutely false. Kindly avoid such speculations.” With this clarification, fans of these actors and the director can finally put these rumors to rest and look forward to the upcoming projects from these talented individuals.

In the meantime, Vetrimaaran has already made it clear that his next project after Viduthalai will be Vaadivaasal, followed by the highly anticipated sequel Vada Chennai 2. With his impressive track record of critically acclaimed films such as Visaranai, Asuran, and the aforementioned Vadachennai, it's no wonder that fans are eagerly anticipating Vetrimaran's future projects.

Dhanush, on the other hand, was last seen in Vaathi, a Tamil/Telugu bilingual drama about a man's fight to reform the educational system. He has the upcoming Tamil feature Captain Miller with Arun Matheswaran on his plate, as well as his second directorial effort, D50, Vada Chennai 2 with Vetrimaaran, and second Telugu debut with Sekhar Kammula.

Jr NTR was most recently seen in SS Rajamouli's massively successful film RRR. Naatu Naatu, a song featured in the action film, was nominated for an Academy Award at the 95th Annual Academy Awards in 2023. He has currently toured the united States in preparation for the March 13 ceremony. It is anticipated that production on his next film, which has the working title NTR 30 and will be directed by Koratala Siva, will begin this month. In addition to this, he has a film in the works with KGF's Prashanth Neel and Trivikram.
