US President-elect Joe Biden has got another feather in his cap which fired Trump's fictitious claims and advanced the Democrat to oust the incumbent as Joe Biden was declared as the winner in the battleground states of Arizona and Wisconsin, where Trump had thrown legal battles to apply brake in Biden's trajectory towards victory.
Trump has been unveiling the unproven allegations that the 2020 presidential elections had stolen from him and the incumbent is yet to officially concede the defeat and concentrates on spreading his rhetoric on social media despite the American people had rejected him another term to serve the country for four more years as the sequel of his controversial administration in the last four years.
Out of a total of 538 electoral college votes, Joe Biden has secured a landmark victory by getting 306 votes while Trump ended up with 232 votes. Recently, Trump has said that he will concede the defeat only if the electoral college had declared Joe Biden as the winner. Days after his statement, the key battleground states of Arizona and Wisconsin had on Monday certified Joe Biden as the winner of its electoral votes.
Trump would have hated the certification from the states which had become another big blow for the incumbent as Trump had won both the states in 2016. In four years, Biden had flipped these states and painted blue after the hectic voting countings and politics. According to reports, Biden won the state of Wisconsin with a margin of 20,700 votes against Trump. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers said on Monday, "Today, I carried out my duty to certify the November 3rd election, and as required by state and federal law, I've signed the Certificate of Ascertainment for the slate of electors for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris".
The official announcement from Wisconsin, which is one of the rust belt states, has come a day after the state had completed the recounting of votes in two of its counties as requested by the Republican incumbent. On Monday, along with Wisconsin, the western key state of Arizona had certified Biden as the winner. Arizona has been a GOP's stronghold for many years and the Biden wave had swept the state with a margin of over 10,000 votes.
While Biden has won ten electoral votes in Wisconsin, he had won eleven votes in Arizona. Republican Governor of Arizona Doug Ducey said that every voter can stand proud that this election was conducted with transparency, accuracy, and fairness in accordance with Arizona's laws and elections procedures despite numerous unfounded claims to the contrary and he further stated that the system is strong.
Objecting Arizona's certification of Biden as the winner, Trump took to Twitter and harshly attacked Governor Ducey. The incumbent asked "Why is he rushing to put a Democrat in office, especially when so many horrible things concerning voter fraud are being revealed at the hearing going on right now. @OANN What is going on with @dougducey? Republicans will long remember!" Replying to one of the Twitter users who said Governor Ducey has betrayed the people of Arizona, Trump said, "True".
Some of the tweets from intolerating Trump about Arizona's certification had marked as the disputed tweet by Twitter. In another tweet, Trump claimed that he is fighting on behalf of 74 million people who have voted for him, which has become his bid to claim that the election is rigged and stolen from him. Arizona's certification has come at the same time when Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani had moved a plea before several Republican State legislatures that the lawmakers should throw out the election results. However, everything is working against Trump as Biden prepares to oust the incumbent from the White House.
