Fans of the seat edge thriller of Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara's Thani Oruvan are in for a treat. The sizzling pair is back with Iraivan, as the nail-biting action thriller is finally got the release date. Directed by I. Ahmed, who gave us the hit films Endrendrum Punnagai and Manithan. As per the update, Iraivan is slated to release on August 25th in four languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
The makers of Iraivan have unveiled a jaw-dropping poster today, which shows Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in a tense standoff with a knife separating them. The poster also reveals another glimpse of Jayam Ravi, suggesting that he plays a dual role in the film.
The actor shared the poster on Twitter and wrote, “#Iraivan will surprise you with the incredible theatrical experience across 4 languages from August 25th !!! #IraivanFromAug25” (sic). Iraivan is produced by Passion Studios, which is also behind the upcoming film Takkar starring Siddharth and Divyansha Kaushik.
The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has delivered some catchy and melodious songs for the film. The cinematography is done by Hari Vedanth and the editing is by Manikandan Balaji. Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara are not only busy with Iraivan, but also have several other projects in their kitty. Jayam Ravi last seen in Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 2, where he plays the lead role of Arulmozhi Varman.
He is also filming for Jana Gana Mana, a political thriller directed by Ahmed. Nayanthara on other hand, busy with her Bollywood debut Jawan with Atlee, Nayanthara 75 with actor Jai, The Test with Madhavan, and presumably to join her husband and director Vignesh Shivan's next.
