Jawan Shatters Box Office Records! This acclaimed filmmaker hails SRK and Atlee

The king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has once again proved his mettle as the undisputed Baadshah of the box office. His latest film, Jawan, directed by the south sensation Atlee, has created history by collecting a whopping 129 crores plus worldwide on its opening day.

Jawan, which released on 7 September 2023, is a high-octane action thriller that showcases SRK in a never-seen-before avatar. The film has garnered high praise from both critics and audiences. Fans are particularly impressed with King Khan's new persona, which is blended with signature South Indian action beats.

The film’s success has also caught the attention of none other than the master director SS Rajamouli, who took to X (formerly Twitter)  and congratulated SRK and Atlee for their phenomenal achievement. Rajamouli, who is known for his magnum opus Baahubali series and RRR, hailed Atlee for continuing his success streak in the north too, and lauded SRK for being the ultimate star of the silver screen.

Rajamouli wrote, “This is the reason why @IamSRK is the Baadshah of the box office¦ What an earth-shattering opening¦ Congratulations @Atlee_dir for continuing the success streak in the north too, and congrats to the team of #Jawan for the stupendous success”

The Bollywood icon also responded to the master storyteller, writing, "Thank u so much sir. We are all learning from your creative inputs for cinema. Please see it as and when u can. Then call me to tell me if I can be a mass hero also. Ha ha. Love and regards sir."

Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Rana Daggubati, Sanya Malhotra, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. The film is expected to break more records in the coming days and emerge as one of the biggest blockbusters of all time.
