The wait is over! The much-awaited trailer of Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Jailer has been released today and it has set the internet on fire. Jailer is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who previously helmed the successful film Beast. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia who plays a crucial brief role, Mohanlal as the gang leader, Ramya Krishnan as his wife, Vasanth Ravi as Rajinikanth’s son and Yogi Babu as his friend.

In the mesmerizing two-and-a-half-minute trailer, the legendary Rajinikanth takes centre stage with not one, but two intriguing identities. Amidst a backdrop of familial bliss, he gracefully navigates through life, relishing precious moments with his beloved wife, doting son, and adorable grandson.

But for as fate would have it, a daring gang hatches a daring scheme to liberate their imprisoned leader. Little do they know that our enigmatic actor is not one to sit idly by. With a magnetic presence and an air of mystique, he emerges from the shadows to thwart their audacious plan.

The trailer is packed with action, drama, comedy and romance, making it a perfect entertainer for the fans. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, who has already made fans groove for Kaavaala, Hukum and Jujubee.

Jailer is produced by Sun Pictures and is set to release on August 10, 2023 worldwide in a grand manner. The film is expected to break many records at the box office and create history. Jailer is Rajinikanth’s 169th film and marks his first collaboration with Nelson Dilipkumar and Tamannaah Bhatia.
