The much-awaited trailer of Dhanush's next 'Jagame Thandhiram' is out as the movie has been progressing rapidly towards the release and indeed to serve a promising and classy treat to the ardent fans of Dhanush across and beyond the borders. The trailer is released by Netflix on Tuesday and since the release, the trailer has caught a grand reception with overwhelming views and relish from the fans.
As the trailer is going viral across social media, Dhanush has expressed his hope that everyone enjoys Jagame Thandhiram and Suruli, Dhanush's character name in the movie. In what has become his first response since the release of the trailer, Dhanush took to Twitter and wrote, "What would have been a great theatrical experience coming to Netflix. Nevertheless hope you all enjoy jagame thandhiram and suruli".
Jagame Thandhiram has been slated to release directly on Netflix, which has become one of the significant hands of the Tamil and Indian cinema to deliver the movie directly to the audiences amid the lockdown. Jagame Thandhiram holds a major expectation given the recent blockbuster hits of Dhanush. The expectation towards the movie has geared up since the first poster was released and its crew. While Dhanush plays the lead role, Aishwarya Lakshmi and Sanjana Natarajan play the female lead.
The combo of Dhanush- Santhosh Narayanan will also be served in the movie and cinematography is done by Shreyas Krishna. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, 'Jagame Thandhiram' is bankrolled by Sasikanth under the banner of YNOT Studios. Though the shooting and the final sketches were over last year, the movie didn't hit the big screen owing to the pandemic-triggered-lockdown.
As the theatres are closed, the production house has decided to release the movie on Netflix. According to reports, the movie will be released on June 18, 2021, on Netflix. The songs from the movie - 'Rakita Rakita', 'Bujji', 'Nethu', were released subsequently to retain the favourable wave for the movie. 'Nethu' song, written and sung by Dhanush, was released on May 22 and all the songs are going viral on social media. With a significant reception for songs, the trailer of the movie has now been released and the movie is just two weeks away from its release.
The reports say that the movie, primarily made in Tamil, will be dubbed in 17 languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, English, and Hindi. Hollywood actor James Cosmo will be playing the antagonist in Jagame Thandhiram while Joju George, Kalaiyarasan, Soundara Raja, and Deepak Paramesh will be playing important roles.
Dhanush was lastly seen in Mari Selvaraj's directorial 'Karnan', which is a blockbuster hit across and beyond the borders. Music director of the movie Santhosh Narayanan took to Twitter and said, "Here we go! Presenting the official trailer of #JagameThandhiram. Please stay safe and indoors if possible." Dhanush is currently working in the Hollywood movie 'Gray Man' directed by the Avengers-fame Russo brothers.
