It's official! Suriya 42 title and release date to be revealed on this date! Makers drop the hot update finally...

The team of Suriya's upcoming film with director Siva, currently referred to as "Suriya 42," have been keeping fans waiting for news of the film's title and release date. Studio Green is footing the bill for this period action adventure drama, which will be shot in 3D and released in 10 different languages. 

In a recent exciting update, the creators announced the film's title and release date would be revealed on Sunday, April 16 at 9:05 am. The film stars Disha Patani of Bollywood in the female lead role, and it is Suriya's first endeavour at 3D fantasy genre.

Studio Green took to Twitter and wrote on Thursday eve, “Studio Green @StudioGreen2 A Mighty Valiant Saga in 10 Languages!!! 3D Most Expected #Suriya42 Title + Release Date Announcement on 16th April, Sunday, 9.05 am. Warrior is coming to storm  #Suriya42Title”

According to reports, Suriya will be seen in five different roles in the film, spanning different time periods. The film is said to revolve around a warrior who dies due to a disease in 1678 and a girl who does research on the disease in the present day. The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Anandraj, Redin Kingsley and Ravi Raghavendra in supporting roles.

The music of ‘Suriya 42’ is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and the film’s shooting is expected to be wrapped up by May 2023. The film will be a visual spectacle with high-octane action sequences and stunning visual effects. Recently, there was a buzz on social media that the film has been titled ‘Agneeswaran’, after a screenshot of the title went viral.

However, there is no official confirmation on this and fans have to wait till April 16 to know the actual title of the film. The makers have also warned of strict legal action against anyone who leaks pictures or videos from the sets of the film.
