It's Official: Makers of Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer share the audio launch date!

The wait is over for the fans of Superstar Rajinikanth, who are eagerly looking forward to his upcoming action comedy film Jailer, directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures. The film, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander, is slated to release on August 10, 2023, and promises to be a fun-filled entertainer with Rajinikanth playing the role of Muthuvel Pandian, a jailer who tries to stop a gang from rescuing their leader from prison.

The makers of Jailer have announced that the music release ceremony of the film will be held on July 28 at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. Sun Pictures have shared a video on social media to reveal this exciting news to the fans. They wrote, "Nadakkura Nada Puyalaacchey  The wait is over! Get ready for the star-studded Grand Audio Launch of #Jailer on July 28th at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. Alappara Kelapparom".

The video shows Rajinikanth in his stylish avatar as Muthuvel Pandian, walking towards the stage with his trademark swag and charisma.  The music release event is expected to be a grand affair, with the presence of the star cast and crew of Jailer, as well as some special guests from the film industry.

The film boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sunil, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu and others. The fans are also eagerly waiting to listen to the songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has already delivered a hits, Kaavalaa, and Hukum.

Anirudh has collaborated with Rajinikanth for the third time after Petta  and Darbar, and is expected to deliver another musical treat for the fans. Jailer is one of the most anticipated films of 2023, as it marks the first collaboration of Rajinikanth with Nelson, who is known for his quirky and entertaining films like Kolamaavu Kokila, Doctor  and Beast .

The film also marks the debut of Shiva Rajkumar in Tamil cinema, who plays a pivotal role in the film. The film has been shot in Chennai and Hyderabad, and has been wrapped up in June 2023. Jailer is a film that promises to showcase Rajinikanth in a new and refreshing avatar, with a lot of humor and action. The film is expected to be a treat for the fans of Rajinikanth, who are eagerly waiting to see him on the big screen after his last outing Annaatthe (2021).
