In an official announcement that has set the excitement soaring among fans, Sathya Jyothi Films revealed today that the much-anticipated film 'Captain Miller,' starring the renowned Pan-Indian actor Dhanush, is all set for a grand release on Pongal 2024.

The news was shared by the production banner, by taking us to X, enthusiastically expressed their anticipation for the film's release, stating, "Our #CAPTAINMILLER is all set for a grand Release this PONGAL / SANKRANTI 2024 ."

Dhanush, whose popularity knows no bounds across the country, has become a prominent figure in the Indian film industry, and his films are eagerly awaited by audiences far and wide. The decision to release 'Captain Miller' during the festive season of Pongal indicates the makers' confidence in the movie's potential to captivate audiences and set the box office abuzz.

According to recent reports, the film's release date was strategically chosen, taking into account the competitive release from December 15, considering the impending releases of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' and Prabhas' 'Salaar,' both hitting the screens a week later.

The decision to release 'Captain Miller' during the festive season not only allows the film to avoid a cluttered release window but also aligns perfectly with the celebratory spirit of Pongal/Sankranti. 'Captain Miller,' directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan.

The film features music by the GV Prakash and boasts cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni. Madhan Karky, known for his impactful dialogues, has contributed to the film's script, and editing by Nagooran. It's worth noting that Aishwarya Rajinikanth's 'Lal Salaam' featuring Superstar in a special appearance will also hit the theatres for Pongal.
