On the occasion of Ulaganayaga's birthday today, fans treated to the grand title teaser of the epic two legendary stalwarts of Indian cinema, Kamal Haasan and acclaimed director Mani Ratnam's KH234, who join forces after three decades to create magic on the silver screen.
The much-anticipated film, tentatively titled "KH234" and now officially known as 'Thug Life,' has sent ripples of excitement through fans with its gripping title teaser. In the almost two-minute grand title teaser, Kamal Haasan steps into the shoes of Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakar from Kayalpattinam, a character etched with destiny as a criminal, thug, and Yakuza.

Fans are quick to draw parallels between Sakthivel Nayakar and the iconic character from "Nayagan," adding layers of intrigue to the narrative. The teaser further hints at a strong connection to Japanese gangster culture, adding an international flavour to the story.
Notably, the film is set to feature an ensemble cast, including Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, and Trisha, where Nassar, and Abhirami, rumored to join and Jayam Ravi portrays the role of a Collector.
Under the visionary direction of Mani Ratnam and the musical brilliance of A. R. Rahman, 'Thug Life' promises to be a visual spectacle. The film boasts a top-notch technical crew, including cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad, and stunt choreographers Anbariv.
Produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth under the banners of Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies, 'Thug Life' is a collaboration which will commence in floors in early 2024.
