SK21 is touted to be an action thriller with a strong social message. The film is expected to go on floors soon and will be shot in various locations across India. The makers have not revealed any other details about the cast and crew of the film yet.
But now the sizzling hot update has been shared by the makers. Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) bankrolling the film took to Twitter and shared that the musical sensation GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose music for the upcoming film SK21, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.
They wrote, "Welcome onboard @gvprakash for mission #SK21 #Ulaganayagan #KamalHaasan #Sivakarthikeyan #SK21JoiningForces #RKFIProductionNo_51". GV Prakash also shared his excitement, wrote, "Super excited to be working for @ikamalhaasan sir with @Siva_Kartikeyan This is going to be a banger Can’t wait to join the squad".
SK21 marks the first collaboration between GV Prakash and Sivakarthikeyan, who have both been successful in their respective fields. GV Prakash has won a national award for his music in Aadukalam and has also composed for many hit films like Asuran, Soorarai Pottru and Sarvam Thaala Mayam.
The film is helmed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, who made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed Rangoon. He is known for his realistic and engaging style of filmmaking. Sai Pallavi, who plays the female lead, is also a talented actress who has impressed the audience with her performances in films like Premam, Fidaa and NGK.
