His letter has been spreading across social media triggering various speculations over the concern on Sasikala from Jayapradeep and the reports say he couldn't have written without the consent from his father Panneerselvam, who held Dharma Yudham four years back in Chennai against the rise of Sasikala.

On Wednesday, VK Sasikala has got officially released from the four-year prison sentence that she served in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bengaluru since February 2017 after getting convicted in the Disproportionate Assets Case. Following the treatment, she was shifted to Bowring Hospital and then to Victoria Hospital, where she has been getting treated currently. Last Thursday, she was tested positive for the COVID-19 viral infection and has been getting treated at the Intensive Care Unit. In the latest statement, the hospital said that Sasikala is doing stable and comfortable and the viral infection is getting reduced.
