Sivakarthikeyan, who witnessed a big win with two hits - Doctor and Don - is gearing up for his next sci-fi film Ayalaan. But before that, he has another exciting project in his pipeline. The actor attended the audio launch of AR Murugadoss’ upcoming production venture, August 16, 1947, directed by debutant NS Ponkumar. The event was held at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai on Monday, where the actor was the chief guest.

During his speech, Sivakarthikeyan revealed that he will be collaborating with AR Murugadoss for a new film soon. He said that he has a long association with the director, who has given blockbuster films like Ghajini, Thuppakki and Kaththi. He recalled how he wrote the script for the audio launch of 7aum Arivu, anchored the audio launch of Engaeyum Eppothum, acted as the hero in Maan Karate and now came as a guest for 1947 - all under AR Murugadoss Productions.

He implied at last "Now, I've come here as a guest to AR Murugadoss Productions' August 16, 1947 audio launch. And, after this, there's an important step I need to take, which will happen soon." He thanked the director for giving him this opportunity and said that he is looking forward to working with him.

Sources have confirmed that the film SK25, will be produced by B Madhu of Light House Movie Makers. No other details about the genre, cast and crew are available yet. However, fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of this much-awaited project. It's worth to note Sivakarthikeyan to do his next film SK21 with AR Murugadoss's assistant Rajkumar Periyasamy under Raaj Kamal FIlm productions, . The actor also said Ayalaan movie will be out by this year end, as CG works are going sincerely. 

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is also busy with his production venture which will feature Soori and Anna Ben in the lead roles. The film is directed by P S Vinothraj, who won acclaim for his film Koozhangal (Pebbles), which was India’s official entry for the 94th Academy Awards. Sivakarthikeyan is also shooting for Maaveeran, directed by Madonne Ashwin of Mandela fame. The film is expected to release on June 29 on the occasion of Bakrid.
