It's bye from Vijay Hazare trophy...Will Natarajan say 'hello' to India vs England series?

India's 'yorker king' Natarajan has been released from the Tamil Nadu squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy with the view of the BCCI's drive to prepare the growing pacer for the limited-overs series against England next month. The development has come after the English visitors won the first test match of the 4-match series against India in Chennai.

T Natarajan was earlier inducted in the Tamil Nadu squad for the Vijaya Hazare Trophy, which will be commencing on February 20. As Natarajan has now been released from the squad with an eye on the England series, Jaganath Srinivas has been picked to replace Natarajan in the Vijaya Hazare Trophy and the Tamil Nadu squad will be leaving for Indore, Madhya Pradesh for the national competition on February 13.

According to PTI, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association Secretary RS Ramasamy said, "The BCCI and the Indian Team management wanted Natarajan to be fresh for the white-ball leg of the series against England. Keeping the Indian team's interests in mind, we said yes", Tamil Nadu Chief of Selectors Vasudevan has also confirmed and said Natarajan has been released from the Vijay Hazare Trophy squad.

England is on the Indian tour to play four test matches, five T20s, and three ODIs. While the test matches will be hosted by Chennai and Ahmedabad, all T20s will be hosted by Ahmedabad and Pune will be hosting the three ODIs. The first test match began in Chennai and the visitors had won the first match by 227 runs and the second match will take place in Chennai from February 13 to 17. While the Indian team hasn't selected Natarajan for the Test series, it has now asked the Tamil Nadu Cricket board to release him from the squad of Vijay Hazare Trophy.

As Natajaran has now been removed from the Tamil Nadu squad, it has been larger expected that he will be inducted into the Indian team for the limited-over formats against England. The first of the five T20s against England will be played on March 12 in Ahmedabad while the first ODI will take place in Pune on March 23.  Natarajan had a rousing series in Australia recently that has given him a remarkable breakthrough for his cricketing career.

Natarajan has become the first Indian cricketer to make his international debut across all three formats during the Australian tour.    When he arrived in Australia as a net bowler, he returned to India as one of the significant bowlers that the team can rely on during extreme pressure.

As his magical yorker has gained huge attention, Natarajan has got the nickname of 'Yorker King'. He had a royal and traditional welcome in his hometown of Salem, Tamil Nadu when he arrived from Australia. With the Indian team is preparing Natarajan for the ongoing England series, he is going to play for India for the first time on the home ground, which would add another feather in the cap. As Natarajan has waved 'bye' to the Tamil Nadu squad for the current Vijay Hazare Trophy, he is now ready to say 'Hello' to the Virat Kohli-led Indian team to play against England.
