‘Iraivan’ Trailer: Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara starrer promises a thrilling cat-and-mouse game

The much-awaited trailer of ‘Iraivan’, the upcoming psychological thriller starring Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara, was released on Sunday by the makers of the film. The trailer gives a glimpse of the gripping plot that revolves around a cop and a serial killer, played by Jayam Ravi and Rahul Bose respectively. ‘Iraivan’ is slated to hit the theatres on September 28, 2023.

Jayam Ravi essays the role of Arjun, a dedicated police officer who is on the hunt for Brahma, a notorious serial killer who has been terrorizing the city with his gruesome murders. Rahul Bose portrays the role of Brahma, a cunning and ruthless psychopath who enjoys playing mind games with his pursuers.  Nayanthara plays the role of Anjali, who shoulders Ravi, and the film also marks the duo pairing after Thani Oruvan.

The trailer showcases some intense scenes between Jayam Ravi and Rahul Bose, as they engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse. The trailer also hints at some twists and turns in the story, as well as some action sequences and romantic moments. The trailer is backed by a haunting background score by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has composed the music for the film.

‘Iraivan’ is directed by I. Ahmed, who has previously helmed films like ‘Endrendrum Punnagai’ and ‘Manithan’. The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jayaram G under the banner of Passion Studios. The film also features actors like Abhimanyu Singh, Sathish, Vidyu Raman, and RJ Balaji in supporting roles. The film has cinematography by Hari K Vedanth and editing by JV Manikanda Balaji.
