An ice cream produced in eastern China was detected with Corona Virus. 

The Daqiaodao Food Co., Ltd. in Tianjin, adjacent to Beijing, was sealed and its employees were being tested for the coronavirus. But there was no indication to anyone had contracted the virus from the ice cream, a city government statement said.  

The company also confirmed that over 1600 employees had been placed in quarantine following the report. Around 700 of them have already tested negative for coronavirus while the remaining are yet to be confirmed. 

Almost 29,000 cartons in the batch had yet to be sold. It said 390 sold in Tianjin were being tracked down and authorities elsewhere were notified of sales to their areas. 
 
It will be noteworthy, that the World Health Organization has said in August: "People should not fear food, food packaging or delivery of food."
