Ulaya Nayagan Kamal Haasan has been savouring the stupendous comeback through the blockbuster 'Vikram' and to share the sweets, he took the Vikram team to surprise by awarding the crew. While Kamal Haasan awarded a Lexus car to director Lokesh Kanagaraj, he presented luxurious bikes to the assistant directors. In a top-notch, the legendary actor has gifted a Rolex watch to actor Suriya for playing the role of Rolex in the movie. 

While Vikram was produced by Kamal Haasan under his own banner 'Raaj Kamal Films International' (RKFI), the movie was presented by Udhayanidhi Stalin under his banner 'Red Giant Movies'. Now, Kamal Haasan has unveiled a huge gift for Udhayanidhi Stalin. On Monday, in the celebrations hosted by Red Giant Movies to mark its 15th year in the business, Kamal Haasan has announced that Udhayanidhi Stalin will play the lead role in the movie that will be produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. 

Udhayanidhi Stalin is on cloud nine as he is going to act in the lead role in Kamal Haasan's own banner. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday- July 26, Udhayanidhi Stalin shared pictures of the event and thanked Kamal Haasan for roping in under his production. The actor and MLA wrote, "We honoured the people who have contributed to the Red Giant movies on its 15th-year celebration event that was held in Chennai on Monday. I thank Kamal Haasan for giving me the proud opportunity of acting in the movie produced by RKFI and for making that announcement." 

According to reports, Kamal Haasan is yet to make further announcements regarding his new project. While it is now confirmed that Udhayanidhi Stalin will play the lead role in the movie, it is expected that the details of the entire crew and cast would be released soon. It has been speculated that this new movie will be helmed by Arunraja Kamaraj, who directed Udhayanidhi's last movie 'Nenjukku Needhi'. 

On the work front, Udhayanidhi Stalin is been busy acting in the movie 'Maamannan' directed by Mari Selvaraj, who is known for his movies 'Pariyerum Perumal' and 'Karnan'. While Udhayanidhi plays the lead role in Maamannan, Keerthy Suresh will be playing the female lead and the movie has roped in veteran actor Vadivelu and Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil in crucial roles. On the other hand, Kamal Haasan's RKFI will also be bankrolling the movie that will be starred by Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi.
