Here's yet another honor for Prime minister Modi!

Adding to the line of honor, Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi has been conferred as a recipient for yet another global award where this time from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundations, which had named Modi for its award honoring his Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or the Clean India mission was one of the important projects announced by the Prime minister in his first edition of governance in 2014 and the project had officially launched on October 2, 2014, the birth anniversary of Nation's father Mahatma Gandhi. The project of Clean India mission has been flagged with an aim of eliminating the open defecation entirely from India ahead to which the project had set up its five year target of constructing over 9 crore toilets across the country.

The minister of State, Prime minister's office, Dr Jithendra Singh had tweeted about the announcement and proclaimed that this is pride moment for every Indian as Prime minister has been conferred for the highest award of Bill and Melinda Gates foundation and further stated that Modi will receive the award during his upcoming visit to the United States this month.

Bill and Melinda Gates foundation was one of the reputed and well known foundations owned by one of the world's top billionaires, Microsoft founder and philanthropist Bill Gates and her wife Melinda Gates.

The reports further cited that Modi has been conferred as a recipient after Bill Gates had praised Prime minister Modi after his government had launched one of the biggest health scheme in the world, the Ayushman Bharat scheme that has been expected to provide free healthcare to over ten crore people.
