Exactly a day after the Chief minister of Puducherry Narayanaswamy had labeled the lieutenant governor as 'demon', Kiran Bedi had today strongly reacted to the comments of the chief minister that had demeaned her. She had mentioned his statements as unparliamentary, uncivilized, uncouth and unacceptable.
In her response, she further stated that the demons won't work for good rather they would drag everything for themselves and they scare the people. On Thursday, while addressing the function, Chief minister Narayanaswamy had branded the territory's governor as demon by accusing her on barricading various welfare and development schemes of the government for the people.
Kiran Bedi had cited that the public offices in Puducherry should concentrate in serving the people by abiding to the rules and regulations in the view of ensuring that the government benefits reach the shore of needy and poor people without any discrepancies in the process.
She stated the necessity of combined and collaborative efforts of the public officials, industries and non governmental organizations towards unleashing adequate and clean water projects in Puducherry to have clear and stable corridor of water for agriculture, drinking and sanitation facilities.
