'He is very dangerous': A warning from former ADMK Minister to the sitting DMK Minister!

Besides having apparent political rivalry, not all leaders in Tamil Nadu would set in a frame of observing personal feuds with the leaders of the opposition parties. Though fighting in front of the cameras, certain leaders in ADMK and DMK observe a friendship between them and recently, by using such a friendship, a former ADMK Minister has warned a sitting DMK Minister.

Until the reign of Jayalalithaa, ADMK was like a fortress where the party cadres and leaders would be fired if found to have a friendship with the DMK or any rivals. The ADMK leaders would refrain from attending the functions and events organized by DMK leaders due to the fear of facing expulsion from the party. However, after her demise, everything took a change.

There were several events where the ADMK and DMK leaders share the same stage or space for functions and funerals. In line with that, a sitting DMK has met the former ADMK minister in an event in which the latter had warned the former to be careful with an ADMK member who joined the DMK. According to our sources, a relative of former ADMK Minister Sengottaiyan has passed away last week and the funeral was organized.

It was attended by former ADMK Minister SP Velumani and ADMK leader Edappadi Palaniswami's son Mithun. At the same time, DMK Minister Muthusamy had also attended the funeral as he observes a relationship with Sengottaiyan. Our sources say that during the meet, Sengottaiyan and Muthusamy were seen speaking casually during which Sengottaiyan warned Muthusamy about Thoppu Venkatachalam, who was with the ADMK and then joined DMK.

Sengottaiyan told to Muthusamy that Venkatachalam has joined DMK and said that he is not honest. Sengottaiyan instructed Muthusamy, "Don't let Thoppu Venkatachalam grow in the DMK. He is very dangerous." Replying to Sengottaiyan's remarks, Muthusamy said that he is careful in everything. This meeting has become the talking subject for both parties. Our sources say that both of them went on to discuss district politics and other topics in the state.
