“He betrayed me"... Composer D Imman makes a shocking claim on this leading actor!

The Kollywood industry is in a state of shock after the sensational revelation by the popular music composer D Imman, who accused the actor Sivakarthikeyan of betraying him. In an interview with a media outlet, D Imman opened up about his strained relationship with Sivakarthikeyan, who was once his close friend and frequent collaborator.

“I will never work with Siva Karthikeyan in this lifetime. If he is born as a hero and I am born as a music director in our next life, there may be a chance for us to reunite, but we will certainly not work together in this life. What Sivakarthikeyan did to me was a massive betrayal of trust," he said.

"I asked him directly why he did so, but I can’t reveal his answer. It was a decision I made very carefully. I understood that betrayal too late. I asked him directly about this. But I cannot tell his answer to that.” the composer said in a voice filled with pain and anger.

The composer did not disclose the exact reason behind the fallout. D Imman and Sivakarthikeyan worked together in six films, starting from Manam Kothi Paravai in 2011 Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam in 2013, Rajini Murugan in 2015, Seema Raja in 2018, and Namma Veetu Pillai in 2019. Their songs were chartbusters and their combination was considered one of the most successful in Kollywood. 

Sivakarthikeyan even penned lyrics for D Imman's composed song in Etharkkum Thunindhavan, which was their last collaboration, released in 2021. Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Madonne Ashwin's Maaveeran and is next gearing up for Ayalaan, directed by Ravikumar R, and composed by AR Rahman, and he is currently shooting for SK 21 directed by  Rajkumar Periyasamy.
