HBD 'Politician' Rajinikanth: The superstar is in the rain of wishes ahead of political storm!

Rajinikanth is now in the club of septuagenarian as the superstar celebrates his 70th birthday on Saturday, which has indeed become his first birthday after announcing his political plunge. 

The actor and political freshman has recently unveiled what his fans have been waiting for over years- his political party is going to born in January 2021 and it will straightaway start to run in the upcoming legislative poll, which is five months away, amid the strong race of the decades-old elders. As Rajini celebrates his first birthday as an active politician, his fans and the members of his outfit are celebrating the actor's gift of what they hoped for many years.

With vowing that the time has come to change the fate of the state, the superstar has been in active discussion with his friends and leaders over his political plunge as he hopes to come up with what he claims to be 'spiritual politics' to replace the stronghold Dravidian politics. As he prepares to roll out his electoral politics right from the assembly polls amid the absence of political giants Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi, the political observers and ideologues are figuring out how his politics would affect the state. 

As his fans are just days away from what they say to mark a new beginning in a new year, they have been grandly celebrating his birthday across and beyond the borders. Regarded as the only superstar in the Indian cinema industry, the actor has been in the rain of warm wishes, ahead of the political storm, while millions of his fans are celebrating his birthday at the respective places. Some of his fans had gathered at his residence in Poes Garden, Chennai on Friday night and they waited for the clock to tick 12. After hitting 12, they had celebrated before his residence by cutting cakes and distributing sweets. 

Along with his fans, the national leaders have also been extending their birthday wishes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and wished for the Superstar. He wrote, "Dear @rajinikanth Ji, wishing you a Happy Birthday! May you lead a long and healthy life". Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Panneerselvam and DMK President MK Stalin had also extended their birthday wishes to the actor. Stalin said that he had spoken with the superstar and conveyed his wishes. Various actors and celebrities had turned into a real fan and expressed their wishes to the actor. 

Director Karthik Subbaraj took to Twitter and said, "Happy birthday my dearest Thalaivaaaa!! May God bless you with a long and healthy life... And You bless us with your able Leadership & Miracles Very Very soon. Love you Thalaiva". Subbaraj had directed Rajinikanth in 'Petta'. Veteran actor Radikaa Sarathkumar said, "Wishing you the best of peace and health on your milestone birthday @rajinikanth". Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman had released Rajinikanth's 70th Birthday CDP on his fans. By taking to Twitter, Rahman said, "Extremely privileged to release superstar @Rajinikanth’s 70th Birthday CDP on behalf of his fans. Wishing you a great birthday and good health!"

Music composer Imman wrote, "Hearty birthday wishes to our one and only Superstar! @rajinikanth sir! Wishing you Never Ending Joy n Peace sir! God be with you". Lyricist Vivek wrote, "For near about 50 years, an artist having this much attention, success, following, and respect is very rare in world cinema. Rajini Sir is such a gem and we are proud that he belongs to our industry. Happy birthday @rajinikanth Sir". 

Actor Arya took to Twitter and said, "Wish U a very Happy Birthday @rajinikanth sir truly blessed to have known you in this lifetime wishing all the success health, and prosperity". Along with these notable artists, many from the industry and crores of his fans have been wishing and celebrating his birthday and the sea of wishes would give a major push and lubricant to sail his political boat safely amid the sharks of challenges as the superstar is preparing to captain his political career with the unprecedented engine of spiritual politics. As the actor celebrates his 70th birthday, the hashtags like #HappyBirthdayRajinikanth #ThalaivarBirthday, and #ThalaivarBDayCelebration have been trending on Twitter.
